Why Now
Those who forget history are destined to go through it again.
The daily struggle was never a problem, mankind has always found and continues to find ways and means to march ahead. However, those who forget the history are doomed to go through the hardships again. Its been 75 plus glorious years of independence after more than 1000 years of occupation. The current average human age is 70 years in India, would mean roughly 40 generations who lived under occupation.

Even in the 75 years of Independence, just imagine the number of wars we had to fight(win or lose and I am only talking about the ones that are known to common man) , our land taken, lives of valiant soldiers lost.

As someone said- “ Extinction is the rule,Survival is the exception”, it becomes so much more important for the current and coming generation to prepare well so that our beloved country and its residents do not again fall as a nation.
​
In those 1000 years, we always had kings, government of various forms, soldiers who fought and were ever willing to make supreme sacrifices, yet we were ruled by outsiders.
​
Defenders of the nation is a movement to preserve our independence and be the most enduring support in the defense of the nation.
